My O1 visa was approved today.
I moved from India to the US a little over 8 years ago. I’ve been moving around my entire life, but this was the only place that inspired me to build something of my own.
In hindsight, being an immigrant was a blessing in disguise. Not having the same opportunities as everyone else meant I could spend my free time building and doing things I actually cared about.
This year, I went all in. I turned down multiple job offers to continue working on my startups full time, and getting this visa was the only way I could sustain it long term.
